MediaSpan Announces Release Of CirculationPro 3.8

ANN ARBOR, MI (April 13, 2009) -- MediaSpan, the leading provider of proven mission-critical content management and workflow solutions for the Web publishing, magazine, and newspaper markets, announced today it has released a revision to its CirculationPro product.

The new version, CirculationPro 3.8, will include many new and enhanced features aimed at helping publishers utilize fewer resources to manage their circulation needs.

“When we started developing CirculationPro 3.8 last summer, we knew we were going to have to find additional ways to help our customers realize cost savings for their circulation departments and this product does that,” said Dan Roberts, MediaSpan President. “With CirculationPro 3.8 and our other products, we’re committing our resources to finding new and innovative solutions which help publishers save money.”

The development of CirculationPro 3.8 was geared toward two primary goals:

Doing More With Less – Especially in this economic environment, publishers are looking for ways to work smarter and more efficiently.

Managing Multiple Publications – Addressing the needs of companies and groups managing multiple products results in fewer call centers, computers and more efficient management of renewals and all mailings.

Some of the new and enhanced features in CirculationPro 3.8 geared towards helping publishers achieve those two goals include:

•Managing the delivery of outside publications like USA TODAY and the Washington Post.  MediaSpan has worked with Gannett and other publishers to automate the management and synchronization of their accounts with CirculationPro 3.8.

• Providing numerous new tools to help manage multiple publications in a single database, regardless if these are multiple publications delivered by the same carrier force or diverse publications across multiple states.

• Automating delivery of scheduled reports. New report scheduling allows a copy of the ABC Audit Report, or any of CirculationPro’s numerous other reports to be run and e-mailed to any relevant persons. Or reports can be automatically printed overnight and waiting for review.

• Importing of returns from anywhere.  Drivers can enter returns directly into their iPhone, Windows Mobile phone or almost any mobile device, then use that file to import returns directly into the system.

• Compliance with all new ABC changes and reports that go into effect for 2009.

CirculationPro software is used to manage more than 2,000 different publications nationwide.
